Luftschutz Dienstbuch (Service Book) issued to Emil Weers, District Wilhelmshaven issued 1941, Well used lots of entries and with slight water damage as you would expect, this guy would have been in the thick of it because Wilhelmshaven was Germanys most important and largest naval bases and was repeatedly bombed throughout the war by the RAF and USAF

Wohnort (place of residence) Falkenburg situated in the region of Thuringen Germany,

Accepted in the nazi party 1 May 1937

However Friedrich Böttner was killed in action on the Eastern Front on 11.10.1943 as a Obergefreiter with 3/.GR Regt 514 (294Infanterie Division) in the Ukraine (Iwanowsky) Nr Kharkiv and is listed on the volksbund site,

German Metal Donation Certificate From 1940, these certificates were given to German citizens who donated scrap metal from their homes on the Führers birthday for the war effort, they donated Lead, Copper, Iron, Bronze etc, and in return received this certificate of appreciation, these certificates were signed by Field Marshal Hermann Göring, Condition has been folded in half also there is a small tear at the top
