Berlin 1936 Olympics Badge, this was the official badge for the 1936 summer Olympic games held in Berlin, gilt metal and inlaid with cream enamels, the badge depicts the Brandenburg Gate, with the wording 1936 X1 Olympiade Berlin with the Olympic rings below, on the reverse are the makers details with the initials W.D for Wilhelm Deumer of Lüdenscheid, with Ges Gesch (“Gesetzlich Geschützt” Protected by law) in very good condition with working pin and no damage to the enamel and retains its gilt finish
